Queens Road Baptist Church - History
The Queens Road Baptist Church congregation have a history going back to 1643. Their first church was built in 1723 at Jordan Well.
The minister was John Butterworth, minister from 1753 to 1803, who saw the church grow and move to a larger chapel in Cow Lane (both now demolished).

The present church was built at Queens Road in 1884, by then it was led by William Henderson.

Buildings were added to the premises in the 20th century, then alterations made when the Coventry Ring Road was built in the early 1970s.
